Hazleton Paranormal Society
|
HPS was formed in October of 2006 by founder Rich Neely. The group is
comprised of like-minded individuals who take the scientific approach toward
paranormal activity. Even though it is termed "the scientific approach", it is more of
a "common sense" approach. Yes, we do use modern equipment and modern
theories to apply to paranormal activity, but we try to find any and all natural
explanations for the activity reported. HPS basically comes into your home or
business with the mindset that it is not haunted, unless we get proof otherwise.
We try to re-create all the claims of paranormal activity at the location. If we are
unable to do so, then that would be something that needs to be taken into
account.
We will be honest will any and all evidence we may collect. We do NOT "create"
evidence for any business/home for the purpose of marketing. We conduct
ourselves in a professional manner and all cases are kept confidential. We do
this at NO CHARGE to you. We enjoy doing this and in no way would ever charge
someone for their discomfort. If you need help in any way, please do not be afraid
to contact us.
HPS's goal is to help people understand what may be occurring in their
home/business and also to further our knowledge of the paranormal. We do not
investigate and then leave the client to fend for themselves. We stand by our
client's side until they are comfortable in their own home.
HPS also investigates claims of paranormal activity in well known haunted
locations along with local legends, myths and lore. If you would like to see more
information on our experiences, please visit the Investigations link.
Please help us keep our website and group up and running, please donate! Thank you!!

Currently, HPS is not accepting new members but we always have our eyes open to people that may bring something special to the group. If you are interested in joining please email Rich or Steph for your application!

New Feature!! Pet of the Month
|
Yankee is a 10-12 month old beautifully striped male American Pitbull Terrier / Boxer mix. He came to us bright and early on the 4th of July (looking for burgers no doubt!) and no one ever came looking for him. Yankee is a strong boy, but he's a sweet pup who wants to please everyone he meets. He is approximately 55-65 lbs right now and will probably get a little bigger yet. He's been great around other animals. Please help us find Yankee his forever home today!
